Some questions you may have before you visit:
(1) What should i wear?
Be yourself!
Wear whatever clothes make you feel most comfortable. We come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.. and thankfully our tastes differ in many ways!
(2) How long will the service last?
The Service lasts typically 1 hour and 20 minutes. We have a short 5 minute break in the middle for the children to go to their
own classes. ~ The service is followed by tea/coffee and some biscuits, which is just some time to hang out and have a chat.
(3) Is the church a Christian Church?
Yes, very much a Christian church! Our purpose is simple: to become a biblically strong community of believers. This includes helping other people become fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
(4) What will happen in the service?
- Singing and a prayer.
- A collection for the Poor
- A break for children to go to their own classes.
- Communion / Lords Supper
- Bible Lesson
- Tea & Biscuits and some time to chat.
(5) Do I have to give money?
Only if you want to.
As a church, we help fund a variety of poor projects and although we do pass an offering basket , we don't want anyone to feel obligated to give.
(6) I have children, Is there something for them? Yes, we have classes for children from the age of 2 up right up to teenagers.
The classes provide an exciting, quality experience for your children..
All of our teachers are well prepared and have gone through rigorous safety checks.
The Children join everyone else for the fist part of the service,so they can join in the singing etc, and then we have a short break for them to go to their classes.
This gives the Adults a chance to focus themselves in the service, and the children to learn and have fun with age approprite activities.
(7) Do I have to bring anything? No, just yourself.
If you do have a Bible , by all means bring it too.
(8) What time does the service start at? 10:45 for a 11:00 start.
